Wild TushetiTusheti is part of the Georgian Caucasus. One gets there only via a 3000 meter high mountain pass and an adventurously exposed, desolate road. But the valleys and mountains one finds behind are breathtaking. Tusheti is a very poor country and only inhabited during summer. There are still bears and wolfs living there, and the wanderer has to take care of the huge sheep dogs which can turn quite nasty. |
